Whilst Foxglove Covert is on Ministry of Defence land and the MOD supports our work, we depend on public financial support to run the nature reserve. Parking donations, buying from our shop, becoming a Friend of Foxglove Covert and making a donation all help us to continue the good work for nature and for people.

How your donation helps nature

Your donation funds conservation efforts that help wildlife on the reserve, such as:

  • buying bird seed to feed that visit the reserve
  • building bat and bird boxes which provide a safe place for birds to nest and bats roost
  • purchasing equipment to survey wildlife and monitor the health of the reserve

How your donation helps people

Your donation also helps provide and improve community access to the reserve, through:

  • creating accessible pathways around the reserve
  • benches and hides as rest stops to sit and enjoy nature
  • helping people take action for nature with high quality tools
  • inspring the next generation with opportunities for learning in a safe environment
