The reserve will be open on both Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 4pm, but please note that the Field Centre will only be open to the public on Sunday.

Friends of Foxglove

The Friends of Foxglove Covert is for those individuals, families and organisations who would like to support the reserve through an annual membership subscription. Friends receive a regular newsletter and invitations to attend our various activities and social events.

Reserve Access: Open

Wednesday 4th June 2025 |

Access is currently as normal and the reserve and field centre are open as usual.

Summer Holiday Fun Days

Wednesday 6th August 2025 | 10am-3pm

Visit Foxglove Covert with the kids; go pond dipping (all kit provided), enjoy nature-themed activities at the Field Centre and explore the reserve with wildlife spotting sheets.

Make a day of it and bring a picnic, or drop by for an hour or two.

Every Wednesday from July 23rd - August 27th inclusive.

UPDATE 30/07/25: Due to high demand booking is now required. Book your pond dipping session at foxglovecovertlnr.eventbrite.com.

Free event, but donations are gratefully received.

Please note activities may vary depending on weather conditions.
