Tim and the college students were here today. They installed the first part of the wire fence dividing the wetland from the rest of the moor. Hopefully the volunteers will finish off the installation next Tuesday. Here you can see Tim preparing the wire to be strained between fence posts.

The Friends of Foxglove Covert is for those individuals, families and organisations who would like to support the reserve through an annual membership subscription. Friends receive a regular newsletter and invitations to attend our various activities and social events.

Dragonfly Walk FULLY BOOKED

Saturday 3rd August 2019 | 13.00-15.00

Join local dragonfly expert Keith Gittens for a guided walk through the many habitats found at Foxglove to learn more about these fascinating insects. 

A minimum donation of £3 per person in advance to guarantee a place. Card payments can be taken by phone.



Wildlife Craft Activity - Make a Bird Feeder

Wednesday 7th August 2019 | 10.00am - 12.00 noon

Come along and make a bird feeder for the garden birds. You can take it home to put in your garden or hang it in a tree on the reserve. This is a drop in session so no need to book in advance. A donation of £3 per child would be appreciated on the day.
