Foxglove Covert Local Nature Reserve covers 100 acres of moorland edge adjacent to Cambrai Lines at Catterick and has a remarkable mix of habitats and species. The reserve contains semi-natural woodland, heathland, flower-rich grassland, streams, ponds, a lake, willow and alder carr, coniferous woodlands and wet meadows.
Foxglove Volunteers have been awarded with The Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service. This is the highest award a voluntary group can receive in the UK and is often described as the MBE for voluntary groups!

Access via Cambrai Lines front gate is always possible at any time during regular hours, outside normal opening hours is by arrangement only.
You will be asked to show photographic ID on entry to the barracks.

Closed Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year's Day
